Tara Mahavidya Mantra—Meaning & Spiritual Significance

Image
A sacred mantra should not be understood merely as a collection of syllables repeated mechanically. Its deeper value emerges when sound, concentration, devotion, discipline and spiritual understanding work together. People frequently ask which mantra they should chant, how many repetitions are required and how quickly they will receive results. However, an equally important question is often overlooked: Why am I approaching this mantra, and what inner transformation should the practice encourage? I do not consider mantra practice an instant formula or a guarantee of miraculous worldly results. Specialized Tantric mantras also belong to particular traditions and should not be adopted randomly from the internet without understanding their context. This article explores the meaning and spiritual significance of the Tara Mahavidya Mantra through responsible reflection and insights developed over 35 years. Tara Mahavidya—The Second Mahavidya

Image
Maa Tara is traditionally revered as the second among the ten Mahavidyas. The name “Tara” is associated with carrying across or guiding someone safely beyond difficulty. Although Her appearance may seem intense, Maa Tara represents compassion, protection, wisdom and the inner courage required to move through fear and uncertainty. Her fierce and compassionate qualities are not contradictory. A loving mother may appear gentle while comforting her child, yet become immensely strong when protection is required. In my understanding, Divine grace does not necessarily mean that every external problem will disappear instantly. Sometimes circumstances remain unchanged, but the strength to face them begins to awaken within us. This internal transformation is also an expression of grace. Kali and Kamakhya Temple: A Living Spiritual Connection

Image

Kamakhya is more than a famous pilgrimage destination. It is a living centre of the Shakta tradition, where divine feminine power is experienced through faith, worship and a continuing spiritual heritage. During my visits to Kamakhya, I realised that its significance cannot be understood only through historical facts or temple architecture. The sacred atmosphere encourages seekers to reflect on creation, transformation and the power present within life itself. The connection between Kali and Kamakhya lies in this experience of Shakti. Both remind us that spiritual transformation requires courage, surrender and a willingness to understand truths that exist beyond ordinary perception. In the complete article, I share my understanding and personal reflections on this sacred relationship. RE...

Why My Ten Mahavidyas Guide Is Different

Image
Over the years, I have read many books, manuscripts, research papers and online discussions about the Ten Mahavidyas. Each source offered something valuable, but I often felt that an important connection was missing. My approach to this guide is different because it is shaped not only by written knowledge but also by personal experience, observation and sincere interaction with people. During my visits to the Kamakhya Temple and through many years of spiritual practice, I gradually understood that the Mahavidyas cannot be viewed only as distant or frightening Divine forms. They are expressions of living wisdom connected with transformation, courage, knowledge, compassion and the realities of human life. Drawing upon my 35 years of...

Best Tantrik in Kolkata

Image
There is nothing called “ Best Tantrik in Kolkata ”. I am speaking from 35 years of experience where I have had the chance to closely work with many   top tantriks   and astrologers all over the country. And I have witnessed this myself, one person CANNOT be the best at everything like no one can be “ Best Tantrik in Kolkata “. Someone who works mainly in Hindu shastra won’t be as good in islamic rituals. I also strongly believe that a true Tantrik would never disclose his main Tantrik work on any media platform. As because to us, our work is “sacred”. Many astrologers and tantriks lose their way in their lust for power and money. And they started making videos on social media displaying what they do. But I can say this without hesitation that those people are not true worshipers of this noble work.  I’ve received tutoring from 4 mentors – my father, Kamakhya Charan Acharjee who passed away in 1993, Dwarkanath Bhattacharjee, Krishnakanth Sharma and Kalyanchandra De...

Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity LGBTQ+

Image
Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity LGBTQ+ The idea that being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning your sexual orientation or gender identity (LGBTQ+) is a disease is a misconception. Major medical organizations worldwide have firmly rejected this notion. Here's why LGBTQ+ is not a disease: Scientific Consensus: Leading health organizations like the American Psychological Association (APA) and the World Health Organization ( WHO ) have stated that homosexuality and transgender identities are not mental disorders. Natural Variation: Sexual orientation is a natural variation in human sexuality, just like hair color or eye color. Cross-Cultural Occurrence: LGBTQ+ identities exist in cultures all over the world, throughout history. The History of Misconceptions: Unfortunately, in the past, homosexuality was mistakenly classified as a mental illness. Decades of research and activism have thankfully corrected this misconception.
